Trinic has announced a price reduction for .ca domain names. Registrations, transfers, and renewals are now available for only $32.49 CAD ($20.49 USD) per year. The new pricing is in effect for any orders placed on or after February 1, 2002.

Website Update & Revisions
August 1, 2001

Trinic integrated an update to the website today. The update increases stability throughout the website. Trinic also has a new, more simplified logo that has been designed for easy recognition. Additional revisions will be introduced throughout the month. These revisions will include enhancements to the Internet Manager, the bulk domain name registration process, as well as indepth information into the new .info or .biz domain names.

After all the revisions are incorporated into the website, detailed information will be available in the respective updated sections. .info & .biz Pre-Registrations

Until this year, .com, .net, and .org were the only gTLDs (Global Top Level Domains) available for public registration. In response to the rapid adoption and expansion of the Internet, ICANN has recently approved seven new gTLDs. .info and .biz are the first two to be released to the public. .cc Domain Names

Trinic is now accepting .cc domain name registrations. .cc is the ccTLD (Country Code Top Level Domain) for the country of Cocos (Keeling Islands). .cc has become one of the most popular ccTLDs with over 400 000 registrations in the first year alone.

Prices are substantially higher than those of other domain names due to the fact that the Government of Cocos is entitled to a portion of the profits. However, Trinic has priced .cc domain names at $54.49 CAD ($36.99 USD) per year, which are extremely competitive within the .cc market.

New Website & Services

Trinic launched a brand new website today. The website combines Trinic's offline services, Computer Consulting and Media Publishing, with their online Internet Services.

The new website also enhances a number of Trinic's current services. The Domain Names section now includes descriptions of each of the TLDs (Top Level Domains) offered, an automated bulk registration option, as well as a permanent price reduction on all domain name registrations. A Brochure package has been added to the Website Hosting service which is a simplified single page hosting solution. A Network Status page has been implemented for immediate updates for scheduled maintenance and server malfunctions.
